The DRG Window Auditor software imports the 835 Electronic Remittance Advice les into the database. The software documents the diligent and routine testing of Medicare payment activity, the disposition of each potential violation, and the timely repayment of any intermediary overpayments and any applicable deductibles. The software produces multiple reports, including the 72-hour Potential Exception report used for researching specifc potential exceptions. The DRG Window Auditor allows for the testing of claims from a hospital's satellite operations, some of which may utilize separate provider numbers and/or different billing systems.

DRG Corporate Auditor
MedCom’s DRG Corporate Auditor will take the 72-hour Settlement Agreement to the new corporate level. If you are a provider that owns two or more facilities under a corporation, DRG Corporate Auditor software can be used to identify intra-facility exceptions.

DRG Transfer Auditor
MedCom's DRG Transfer Auditor software will compare admission and discharge dates for patients that have been transferred to or from a facility. The software scrutinizes the 835 for DRG types that cannot have a discharge date but must have a transfer date instead.
