- Conduct on-site interviews with department staff to determine what services are performed, how departments are interpreting the line items, and how the charge capture process works.
- Educate hospital staff to ensure that they are updated on regulatory changes, current on compliant charge capture processes, and knowledgeable about what is required to have a fully populated CDM.
- Provide specific Chargemaster line item recommendations to management for immediate implementation.
- Customize implementation for the client, including an electronic or manual option, based on the system.
- Conduct a post-implementation audit of Chargemaster changes to ensure the accuracy of the changes.
