It is our combination of expertise and experience in the coding and compliance area as well as our ability to utilize the most current technologies that allows us to conduct a timely and detailed review. We customize our CDM Review process to meet the needs of our client. As a result, we are capable of conducting Chargemaster Reviews for a variety of healthcare providers from large hospital systems with physician groups to small, community hospitals.

Chargemaster Review Process
  • Upload Chargemaster data into our proprietary CDM Review Software so that errors can quickly and accurately be pinpointed and quantified.
  • Conduct on-site interviews with department staff to determine what services are performed, how departments are interpreting the line items, and how the charge capture process works.
  • Educate hospital staff to ensure that they are updated on regulatory changes, current on compliant charge capture processes, and knowledgeable about what is required to have a fully populated CDM.
  • Provide specific Chargemaster line item recommendations to management for immediate implementation.
  • Customize implementation for the client, including an electronic or manual option, based on the system.
  • Conduct a post-implementation audit of Chargemaster changes to ensure the accuracy of the changes.
