• Reviewing Charge Description Masters (CDM) for hospitals and physician practices for compliance with federal Medicare regulations
• Reviewing mappings between Charge/Order Entry mechanisms and their relationship to the CDM for correct charging of services
• Review of daily CDM maintenance requests by various clients
• Pricing reviews to determine appropriateness of pricing
• Revenue cycle reviews to audit for correct charging and billing practices
• UB-92 and 1500 bill reviews to audit proper billing

* On-site travel will be required.

• Minimum of two years of experience in hospital and/or physician practice setting (auditing, clinical)
• Exceptional communications, written and verbal
• Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for Medicare, Medicaid and other third party payers (including issues related to coding and reimbursement)
• Comprehensive knowledge of:

CPT-4 and HCPCS coding

APC Payment methodology

Revenue cycle issues

• Competency with PCs and Office applications is required
• Coding certification is preferred
